Boundary Conditions Diagram

The Boundary Conditions Diagram is a tool that identifies the critical elements of a project and defines the conditions which must exist for a team to ship a successful product to market. Boundary Conditions create a “contract” between the project and management teams. This contract allows the team the authority to plan and execute the project with minimal intervention unless they cross the boundaries. Should the team cross these boundaries, there is a clear process to get the team back on track.
